You can make the interior of your casita any way you like.  This casita has been set up with a very modern, contemporary design that includes a fireplace.  The casita from Distinctive Homes also features tile floors and stacked stone walls.

Green Alliance Speaks Sustainable Real Estate in Las Vegas

Tonight, 5:30pm here at Distinctive Homes in Las Vegas, we are hosting a Green Alliance event at our sales office @ 3866 Tent Rock Court, Las Vegas, NV 89118.  We will have guest speaker Nat Hodgson from the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association.  He will share his ideas and thoughts on the future of new home building in Southern Nevada.  We will also have Kristina Pearson from Great Las Vegas Association of Realtors giving the group updates on the GLVAR.

Many people that are new to the Las Vegas area are not familiar with the term "Casita".  You may have heard it watching HGTV or other home selling/renovating television shows.   Casita is Spanish for "small house".  The can also be referred to as an ADU or Auxiliary Dwelling Unit.  Typically in the Las Vegas Valley, a Casita is a smaller dwelling attached to a home than can be used for family or guests.

Our Casita's at Distinctive Homes start at around 400 square feet and go up from there.  Separated from the main house by a carport, the detached casita suite creates additional separate living space with a walk in closet, full bath and eating gallery.

Distinctive Homes Plan - 4980 (4,980 SF) MULTI-GEN - Casita Cottage

The Plan 4980 is Distinctive Homes largest design. With the choice of three exterior elevations – the Traditional, Prairie and Contemporary – the home boasts dramatic volume in its entry with natural light coming through the second-story windows.
