Distinctive Homes Las Vegas: What is a Casita and why do I need one?

Distinctive Homes Las Vegas Casita
Many people that are new to the Las Vegas area are not familiar with the term "Casita".  You may have heard it watching HGTV or other home selling/renovating television shows.   Casita is Spanish for "small house".  The can also be referred to as an ADU or Auxiliary Dwelling Unit.  Typically in the Las Vegas Valley, a Casita is a smaller dwelling attached to a home than can be used for family or guests.

Inside a Distinctive Homes Casita
Our Casita's at Distinctive Homes start at around 400 square feet and go up from there.  Separated from the main house by a carport, the detached casita suite creates additional separate living space with a walk in closet, full bath and eating gallery.

Our Casita's offer plenty of space for guests so they can feel right at home.  We offer many options of colors and materials.   The casita can be an exact replica of the main living quarters. (just smaller)
